Mangaluru: A 28-year-old person from the Kurnadu village went missing on Tuesday, June 9 night. His motorcycle has been found abandoned near the Nethravathi bridge at Ullal.
The missing person has been identified as Praveen Saphalya. According to sources, Praveen’s motorcycle was found abandoned near the Nethravathi bridge on Wednesday, June 10 morning.
His bike was identified by locals and immediately, a search operation was launched. It is learnt that Praveen had two mobile phones on his person, both of which are switched off.
As the Nethravathi bridge has been identified as suicide point, a search operation is on to trace the missing youth.
It can be recalled that last year, attention was drawn to the bridge after the suicide of Cafe Coffee Day founder V G Siddhartha.
