Mangaluru: In a disturbing incident, a youth stabbed a girl multiple times and also tried to kill himself on Friday, June 28 evening at Bagambila near Deralakatte here.
The youth who is identified as Sushanth, a resident of Shakti Nagar in Mangaluru, came in a two-wheeler, stopped the student in Bagambila and stabbed her multiple times, and later, attemtped to kill himself. The student is identified as Deeksha, resident of Bagambila. Both are admitted in a private hospital.
The Ullal Police rushed to the spot and conducted an inquest. A case has been registered.
