Udupi: A 23-year-old engineering student died as his motorcycle collided with a four-wheeler at Nitte here on Thursday January 28.
The deceased is identified as Moon Rajput, a final year engineering student at Nitte Engineering College.
According to sources, a Maruti Omni plying towards Belman from Nitte collided with Rajput’s motorcycle, killing him on the spot. According to unconfirmed reports, Rajput was not wearing his helmet.
Karkala rural police have registered a case.
