Udupi: A condolences meet for deceased Sri Laxmivara Theertha Swamiji of Shiroor Mutt will be held on August, 18.
The committee of followers of Shiroor Swamiji conducted a meeting on Saturday, August 11 at Mathura Chathra Hall. Advocate Ravikiran Murdeshwar, one of the close associates of deceased Shiroor Swamiji, during the meeting said that confusions still prevail and devotees are only hoping that a fair probe is conducted.
“An FIR has still not been filed in the death case, which as of now is only an unnatural death case in the police station. The confusions will be solved only when the FSL report comes,” he said adding that the investigation must be brisked up.
Esha Vittala Swamiji of Kemaru Math, one of the strong supporters of deceased Shiroor Swamiji, Vijay Raghav Rao, Shashidhar Bhat and followers of deceased Shiroor Math Swamiji were present during the committee meeting.
