Udupi: The District Udupi Block Congress Committee protested against the BJP led NDA government over the price hike here at the Clock Tower on Tuesday, May 03.
Speaking on the occasion Youth Congress leader Amrith Shenoy said that Modi should stop playing dual policies. “He has been saying that his government supports development and opposes communal violence, however both of these are not seen. Development at the cost of farmers and poor are not acceptable”, he added.
His Ram Mandir and a rule to stop Cow slaughter has vanished completely. Amith Shah’s remarks over beef and Ram Mandir is the best example for it. He has nothing to talk about his promises, instead he is busy with foreign trips. It’s time to speak for the farmers rather than foreign investments. The government should stop confusing the public with words and implement fruitful projects.
Modi had promised to get black money back in the country within 100 days of his rule. But so far, there was no sign of it. Prices have increased of the essential commodities in the last year since the BJP government came to power and has made life of common man difficult.
