Udupi: The arrival of the mortal remains of Shirva’s Hazel Mathias, who was working as a nurse at Saudi Arabia will be further delayed following some technical glitches.

Earlier, it was said that Hazel’s body will reach Bengaluru by Gulf Airways on the night of September 25 and the body will be brought to her native place by ambulance, on September 26. Sources now informed that the mortal remains will arrive at Bengaluru on September 27 by Gulf Airways cargo and from there the body will be brought to her native on Friday, September 28.

From the last six years, Hazel was working in Al Miqua General Hospital in Abha province, Jeddah. She allegedly had committed suicide owing to sexual harassment from a Saudi national. The mortal remains of the deceased nurse were retained by the Saudi administration for over two months for investigation purpose.
