Kundapur: April 11 last date for adding names to voter list

Udupi: In the wake of the Karnataka Assembly elections, the State Election Commission has provided an opportunity to add names to the voter list. April 11 is the last date for adding names to the voter list for those who have completed 18 years of age.

The Election Commission has allowed those who turned 18 years of age before April 1 to vote. Those born between January 2005 and March 31 can register their names in the voter list. The names can be added by contacting the BLOs near the voter centre and applying online in the Voters Helpline app.

Required Documents:

SSLC Marks Card xerox copy, Ration Card xerox copy, Aadhaar card xerox copy and one passport size photograph.

According to the Indian Constitution, it is mandatory for people above 18 years to vote in elections.
