Udupi: Renowned advocate M Shantharam Shetty has been appointed as special public prosecutor by the state government in connection to sensational Bhasker Shetty murder case reported from Udupi.
Bhasker Shetty’s mother Gulabi Shetty had urged the government to appoint Shetty as the prosecutor for the case and the same was accepted and the order was issued on October 26.
Hotelier Bhasker Shetty went missing from Udupi couple of months ago and in turn of events his wife Rajeshwari Shetty, son Navaneeth Shetty a self-proclaimed astrologer Niranjan Bhat among others are facing the charges of killing Shetty by charring him in a ‘homa kunda’.
