Manipal: A doctor was dead on the spot when his car overturned at DC office road late last night. Two people in the car escaped unhurt.
The deceased doctor was of Manipal Hospital. He has been identified as Suryanarayana. Sangeeth from Kerala and Divit Singh from Uttar Pradesh escaped with minor injuries in the accident.
The three friends were returning to their flat after having dinner last night when they lost control and the car rammed into a road divider ended overturned. Suryanarayana suffered severe head injuries and breathed his last on the spot. A case has been registered at Manipal police station.
