Udupi: The National Students Union of India (NSUI), Udupi District celebrated this Diwali with orphans and abandoned elders at the Vishwasada Mane Orphanage, Shankerpura.
When asked, NSUI Udupi District President Christan Almeida described the event as something that “brings light in their dark world,” The NSUI members distributed sweets and other goodies. Later the members lit a few fire crackers as part of the celebration.
NSUI member Arthur Charles delivered the introductory speech.
Christan Almeida, Arthur Charles, Prajwal, Marsh, Mohammed Swalih, Ashish, Dheeraj and others were present at the event.
