Udupi: BJP’s Udupi District President Kuyiladi Suresh Nayak said that the Congress, which has lost the confidence of the people, is now issuing the guarantee card which is being distributed as a guarantee of defeat.
Speaking to mediapersons, he said, “It is a burning challenge to the morals of the Congress that the Congress’s own supreme leaders, who for a long time undertook misrule and looted the Country with the hollow slogan of ‘Garibhi Hatao’, are out on bail facing probes in corruption scandals.”
Annabhagya is a Central Government scheme. Under the Food Security Act, the Central Government has decided to provide rice to the State at the rate of 29 per kg, while the State’s share is only Rs. 3. The Congress is only making false promises by projecting the Centre’s plan as its own, he said.
“The BJP-led State Government has already decided to set up SC/ST communities. On an average, 75 units of free electricity is being supplied to the Communities and the power supply is in excellent condition. However, the Congress, which had forgotten that Former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah had lit candles and presented the budget under a torch light due to inadequate power supply during his tenure, has boasted of free electricity,” he said.
