Udupi: The villagers of Gujjadi in Kundapur Taluk of the District have demanded that a mud road connecting Kodapadi Sri Guheswara Temple should be developed.
More than 50 years have passed since the 300-metre-long road, which connects Sri Guheswara Temple directly to Natiinal Highway – 66, has not been developed.
The road connecting the 1200-year-old Sri Guheswara Temple is covered with red mud and it is difficult for devotees to walk on the dusty road and the public has demanded that the road be developed. If the road close to the Guheswara Temple is developed, the devotees will be able to avoid the difficulty of travelling around two kilometres.
