Udupi: Some miscreants tore the banner of Congress for Kaup programme installed by the Congress at Rajivanagara in 80 Badagubettu Village on Friday March 10.
Along with the Guarantee Schemes announced by the Congress for the upcoming Assembly elections such as Gruhalakshmi, Anna Bhagya, free electricity scheme, the banner of the programme ‘Congress for Kaup’ was put up near the bus stand in Rajivanagara.
This banner was torn by some miscreants. The CCTV footage of the miscreants tearing down the banner was captured on CCTV of a shop. However, the identity of the miscreants has not been ascertained yet.
Local Congress Leaders have expressed outrage over the incident.
