Udupi: The public has expressed anger over the removal of the divider of gundibailu two-lane road. Here, work is going on to clear the divider everywhere that they want. It is not right for the municipal corporation to give permission to clear the road divider. Already here, the divider has been cleared in an unscientific manner to facilitate the diversion of vehicles. Locals complain that a lot of accidents are taking place on the road due to this.
A lot of vehicles ply on this road connecting Ambagilu-Kalsanka. The pressure of the vehicles is high in the morning, evening and night. There is no parking facility anywhere here. Everyone stops on the side of the road.
Accidents are occurring frequently as the road divider, including parking of vehicles, has made a clearing U-turn everywhere. Now it is not right to clear the divider again near HP petrol pump. There is a complete violation of road rules. The public has complained to the municipal corporation to take action in this regard.
