Udupi: The Central Government’s Railways has fulfilled the demands of the people of Udupi and Chikkamagaluru Districts.
Netravathi Express at Kundapur Railway Station, Yeshwantpur-Vasco-Da-Gama Express at Kadur, Matsyagandha Express will stop at Bargur and Yeshwantpur-Barmer train will stop at Birur in Chikkamagaluru with effect from March 4. Union Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Shobha Karandlaje had written to the Union Railway Minister and requested him to hold a meeting in this regard.
The order was issued by Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw in response to the request.
