Udupi: Theft case, ornaments handed over to owners

Udupi: A programme to hand over the gold ornaments and assets seized in theft cases in various Police Station limits of Udupi District to the respective owners was held at the Police Parade Ground in Udupi on Tuesday March 21.

District Superintendent of Police Hakay Akshay Machhindra handed over the properties to the owners.

A total of Rs. 74,52,170 worth of assets were seized in 40 cases including one case each from Karkala Rural Police Station, one case each from Hiriyadka, Byndoor, Kollur and Kaup Police Stations, two cases each from Kota and Malpe Police Stations, three from Udupi City, five from Kundapur, five from Padubidri, four from Kundapur Rural, five from Brahmavar and 10 from Manipal Police Stations.
