Udupi: World Bunts Associations Okkoota ® in association with Udupi district all-Bunts Associations will be organizing the “World Bunts Gathering – 2018” at Smt. Ammanni Ramanna Shetty Hall, Udupi on September 9.
Addressing to media persons at White Lotus Hotel, Udupi on Monday, July 30, Conference Committee President Ln Indrali Jayakar Shetty said that the world conference programme will begin from 8am with Bhajans and Bhaktigeethas. There will be various cultural programmes by the bunts community. Various movie stars, TV and cine actors will also participate in the conference. Moreover, Bunts politicians from all the parties will participate during the gathering.
Thousands of non- resident Bunts will also participate in the cultural performances and programmes during the occasion. An interaction programme, on the subject, ‘Bunts earlier, now and after’ will be held between the bunts community.
“We are confident that the chief minister of Karnataka, Kumaraswamy will attend the programme. Sri Veerendra Heggade of Dharmasthala will participate during the union of Bunts community,” he added saying that nearly 18000 to 20000 Bunts community members are expected for the conference.
“The programmes will be held from 8am to 9pm, Refreshments and meals will be served for visitors. The main object of the conference is Bunts unity, to create awareness of the bunts culture among youths and to help for poor bunts community.
The World Bunts Associations Okkoota will provide help for the marriage, shelter, medical, Sports and education for Bunts needy people. There are lots of poor families in Bunts community and the Okkoota will offer them help with their requirements,” he said.
