Udupi: A horrifying incident occurred on National Highway 66 in Padubidripet on Friday evening when a youth lost his life after being crushed by a tanker.
The deceased young man has been identified as Prajwal, a resident of Kanchinadka. At that time, a private bus heading towards Mangaluru had halted in Padubidripet to let passengers disembark. It was during this moment that Prajwal’s bike collided with the back of the bus, throwing him onto the road. Tragically, Prajwal’s life came to an end on the spot when a tanker, which had approached rapidly, ran over him. The Padubidri police rushed to the scene and conducted an inspection.
