Ballari: Amid internal strife within Karnataka Congress, State Minister B.Z. Zameer Ahmad Khan issued a fiery warning, declaring that anyone who dares to challenge CM Siddaramaiah will be “reduced to ashes.”
His remarks, seemingly directed at Deputy CM D.K. Shivakumar, come amid ongoing power-sharing tensions and discussions over a possible change in the party’s state leadership. Defending Siddaramaiah, Zameer asserted, “He is like fire. Anyone who touches him will burn.”
He dismissed speculation about leadership changes, reaffirming that Shivakumar remains KPCC President and Siddaramaiah continues as CM. However, party factions are actively lobbying the high command, with key ministers pushing for Shivakumar’s replacement.
With both camps making strategic moves, all eyes are now on Congress’ central leadership for the next course of action.
