Chikkamagaluru: District Deputy Commissioner K. N. Ramesh has instructed Srirama Sene to keep Datta Mala Abhiyana at Sri Guru Dattatreya Peetha at Bababudangiri a simple affair adhering to strict Covid guidelines.
Srirama Sene has planned a seven-day Datta Mala Abhiyana beginning November 8 with the valedictory ceremong to be held at the cave shrine on November 14. For the programme, State Government has allowed gathering of only 400 people. They are instructed not to take out any procession as part of programme.
Further, the District Administration has decided to ban the entry of tourists to the shrine on November 14.
