BENGALURU: Former minister and Davanagere South MLA Dr. Shamanur Shivashankarappa was admitted to SSIMS, Davangere, due to health issues including a cough and leg pain. After initial treatment, his condition improved, and he was transferred to Sparsh Hospital in Bengaluru.
The All India Veerashaiva Mahasabha, through a statement, reassured that Shivashankarappa’s health parameters are stable and there is no cause for concern. Veerashaiva Mahasabha secretary Renuka Prasanna confirmed his well-being.
In a video statement, Shivashankarappa also affirmed that he is doing fine. The 92-year-old leader’s 93rd birthday celebrations are planned for June 16.
