Dharwad: The Qazis, along with Anjuman-E-Islam authorities in Hubballi and Dharwad, have confirmed the sighting of the crescent moon on Sunday. As a result, Eid-ul-Fitr festivities will be observed on Monday, March 31.

Following 29 days of dedicated fasting during the holy month of Ramzan, members of the Muslim community will come together to celebrate this joyous occasion. Eid marks the culmination of Ramadan, signifying devotion, gratitude, and communal harmony.

Special Eid prayers (namaz) have been scheduled at multiple locations. In Hubballi, congregational prayers will be held at Mantoor Road Eidgah at 10:05 am, Old Hubli Eidgah at 10:20 am, and Hubli Eidgah at 10:35 am. Similarly, in Dharwad, the Eidgah will host the prayer service at 10:30 am.

The festival will be marked with prayers, feasts, and celebrations as families and friends gather to share happiness and strengthen bonds. As part of the tradition, Zakat and charity will also be extended to the less fortunate, spreading the essence of kindness and compassion.

Eid-ul-Fitr symbolizes renewal, gratitude, and unity. The community looks forward to embracing the festive spirit with joy and togetherness.
