In response to growing demand, the Hubballi-Dharwad Municipal Corporation (HDMC) will soon launch pet cremation units in Hubballi and Dharwad, marking a first for North Karnataka. Currently, deceased pets are taken to dump yards, causing sanitation and logistical issues. The new facilities, located at Karwar Road in Hubballi and Hosyallapur in Dharwad, aim to offer a respectful and scientific approach to pet cremation. HDMC plans to manage daily complaints of deceased animals, improving services for local pet owners.
