Speaking to reporters after visiting Anjali Ambiger’s residence and paying respects to her, the minister asserted that during Congress rule, there had been an increase in murders, suicides, and a halt in development initiatives.

Joshi expressed concern over recent tragic incidents, including the brutal murder of Anjali  following Neha’s killing. He emphasized the need for a thorough investigation into Anjali’s case, particularly regarding alleged police negligence despite reported threats.

Highlighting the prevalence of illegal activities and the supply of banned drugs in the state, Joshi accused the government of prioritizing transfer politics over tackling these issues effectively.

He lamented that such brutal murders have instilled fear in parents, making them hesitant to send their daughters to colleges. Joshi urged the state government to take decisive action in response to such incidents.
