A tragic accident near Court Circle in Karnataka’s Gadag district left a 27-year-old bike rider severely injured, with his leg amputated due to the impact.
The victim, Gaviappa Bannikoppa, a resident of Hiravaddatti village in Mundaragi Taluk, was traveling from Mundaragi town to his village when the accident occurred. A bus en route from Gadag to Mundaragi collided with his bike, leading to the devastating injury.
Officials report that Gaviappa’s condition remains critical. The severity of the collision resulted in his foot being severed on the spot.
