Kidnap Case: SIT Issues Notice to Bhavani Revanna

Hassan: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) has served another notice to Bhavani Reanna, mother of Hassan MP Prajwal Revanna who is facing serious allegation of sexually abusing several women, in connection with the kidnap of woman from KR Nagar.

The SIT has asked Bhavani to appear before it on June 1. Bhavani had not responded to the notices served by the SIT, hence she must appear before it on June 1, highlighting urgency for an inquiry. 

The mother of MP had informed the SIT that she would appear for an inquiry at her residence in Holenarasipura, if they needed to question her. 

The SIT in the noice stated that a team comprising women officers will come to her residence in Holenarasipura on June 1, for an inquiry from 10 am to 5 pm.

Bhavani Revanna has applied for an anticipatory bail in the case. The hearing would be held today.  If she did not get anticipatory bail, she may be arrested by the SIT, said sources.
