College Student Assaulted in Haveri Over Friendship

Haveri: A 21-year-old BCom student, Chetan Aragol, was brutally attacked while on his way to a computer class with his female friend on Wednesday. The violent assault was carried out by a group of young men, led by Arun Badni from Hubballi, who objected to their friendship.
The attackers forced Chetan into a vehicle and beat him with sticks and rods, leaving him with serious injuries. He is currently receiving medical treatment at Haveri district hospital.
Following the incident, the Haveri city police have registered a case and begun an investigation to bring the perpetrators to justice.
