East Central Railway: Due to heavy rain and water logging affecting the tracks in the Southwestern Railway (SWR) jurisdiction, several train services have been cancelled. The cancellations were announced by Sharswati Chandra, Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) of East Central Railway, on Monday.

Cancelled Trains:

  1. Sangha Mitra Express (from Danapur to Bengaluru, Train No. 12296)
  2. Danapur-Bengaluru Special Train (Train No. 06510) scheduled to depart from Danapur on September 4
  3. Bengaluru-Danapur (Train No. 12295)
  4. Bengaluru-Danapur Special Train (Train No. 06509)

Reason for Cancellation:

  • The cancellations are due to heavy rain and subsequent water logging over the tracks in several locations under SWR jurisdiction.
  • Additional cancellations occurred because of a track breach at Rayanapadu railway station.
