It’s not Kanakapura to do hooliganism: Jagadish Shettar warns DKShi

Hubballi: “There is no strong leadership in Uttara Kannada so the Congress has sent DKShi to Kundagola. As Congress does not have enough party workers they are trying to woo people from BJP but our workers are not for sale. Congress will pay a heavy price if it tries to challenge the BJP workers. This is Ramanagara and not Kanakapura. Hooliganism won’t work here. Even in Chincholi, people are for BJP” said Former Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar.

Speaking to reporters in Ramnagar, Shettar said, “Congress was asking for proof of surgical strike. Now an Italian journalist has reported that 120 militants were killed in the surgical strike. Congress should stop the practice of humiliating the soldiers,” said Jagadish Shettar.

Shettar said that Rahul Gandhi had called PM Modi “Chowkidar Chor Hai” but he later tendered an unconditional apology to the Supreme Court for having said that.

“The coalition partnership in Karnataka will survive only till the Lok Sabha results. Former chief minister Siddaramaiah too had mentioned this earlier. After the Lok Sabha results, the coalition government will be non-existent. Now some of Congress party members are projecting Siddaramaiah as CM. Siddaramaiah was earlier saying that he would make a Dalit, the CM. But there is no connection between Siddaramaiah’s speech and action. Siddaramaiah did not work for the Kurubas. He is a big liar”, said Jagdish Shettar.

“The chief minister does not have time to understand people’s problems. After the Lok Sabha results, the coalition government in the state would collapse and B S Yeddyurappa will become the CM. It is very clear that the BJP will get a clear mandate in the Centre” said the former CM.
