
Bengaluru-Bidar Air Connectivity to Resume from April 15
Kalaburagi: Air travel between Bengaluru and Bidar is set to resume on April 15, as Star Airlines begins ticket bookings for flights on this route.
Key Highlights:
✈ Flights were discontinued on December 26, 2023, due to inconvenient timings and low passenger demand.
✈ District Minister Ishwar Khandre worked with CM Siddaramaiah and Industries Minister MB Patil to secure ₹13.5 crore for resumption.
✈ While services were initially expected to restart in December 2024, technical delays caused a three-month postponement.

📍 Departure from Bengaluru: 7:45 AM → Arrival in Bidar: 9:00 AM
📍 Return from Bidar: 9:30 AM → Arrival in Bengaluru: 10:45 AM
Bidar residents and local businesses have welcomed this long-awaited development. The district administration has assured that further updates will be provided as operations progress.
