In Kalaburagi, Muhammad Irshad tragically lost his life after being electrocuted by a pole supporting the highlight board of New Life Hospital, situated opposite the central bus stand. The incident occurred on Saturday when Irshad, a resident of B.B. Road, Shahapur town, was at the hospital with his pregnant sister for treatment.
According to the complaint filed by the family, Irshad was electrocuted after touching the highlight board pole, which was found to be carrying an electric current. The family alleges negligence on the part of the hospital for not ensuring safety measures around the pole.
The Ashoka Nagar police have registered a case and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident. Further actions will be determined based on the findings of the investigation.
