The incident occurred around 3 pm on Monday, and the hospital’s CCTV footage shows the women wandering the premises before fleeing with the infant.

Details of the Incident:

  • The women, dressed in white doctor’s aprons and with their faces partially covered, posed as hospital staff.
  • They approached the baby’s mother, claiming the child needed medical tests, before abducting him.
  • Additional CCTV footage captures the women fleeing the hospital with the baby in tow.

Police Investigation:

  • A case has been registered under Section 137 (Kidnapping) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
  • Three police teams have been formed to track down the suspects and recover the baby.
  • Authorities have reported some leads and are actively working on the investigation.
