Ballari: “In 2008, they misled me. In 2018, the Congress had given power on conditions but did not allow it to exercise power independently, said Former Chief Minister H. D. Kumaraswamy and added that poverty cannot be eradicated if there is a Coalition Government.

Speaking at Kurekoppa Village in Ballari District, he said he had the experience of forming a Coalition Government with both the parties. “It is not the BJP of 2006, but the BJP with the power of National leaders. In 2006, the BJP was subdued and now they too have gone beyond the Congress,” he noted.

“In 2018, Siddu became a slave for joining hands with the Congress. Even though Siddaramaiah lost his power, I did not give up the house even though I became the CM. Last time, the Congress formed a Coalition Government and slit their throats,” he said.

“Nikhil Kumaraswamy lost without the support of the Congress. The same was the case in Tumakuru,” said H. D Kumaraswamy.

“Siddaramaiah has gone to the Congress only to become the Chief Minister. Since the age of 30, only we have been labelled for ‘family politics’. Siddaramaiah is going out for the future in Varuna. Kharge is bringing his son so that he can become the Chief Minister. Yediyurappa, and Eshwarappa are also worried about their sons,” says HDK
