Ballari (Vijayanagara): Four persons died as they were struck by lightning in Kudligi taluk, Vijayanagara district on Tuesday May 4.
The deceased have been identified as Veeranna (50), Chinnappa (40), Patreppa (43) and Rajashekhar (32) and were killed in three separate incidents. While Veeranna and Chinnappa were struck by lightning under tree, Patreppa was hit by lightning through roof.
Police and revenue officials have visited the spot.
