Ballari: Anand Singh, Infrastructure Development, Haj, Waqf and in-charge minister the district on Monday May 17 launched uninterrupted electricity supply to the 1000 oxygen bed makeshift Covid hospital built opposite Jindal Steels.
Minister Anand Singh first worshipped the machines near the power converters that provide continuous power to 1000 oxygen beds. After this, he launched the power supply symbolically by pressing the power supply button.
Dr. Devanand, retired director of WIMS, makeshift hospital staff and Jindal staff were present.
Makeshift Covid hospital with 1000 oxygen bed to come up near Jindal
Meanwhile, the construction of the 1,000-bed makeshift Covid hospital in front of Jindal Steels was scrutinised by B.S. Anand Singh on Sunday May 16.
He then held discussions with doctors and nodal officials at the Jindal Institute premises.
The residential set up for doctors, nurses, and group D hotels that has come up at hotels were also inspected by the minister on the occasion.
The hospital is being built by JSW Steel and will be managed by the district administration, it is reported.
