Hospet: The Communist Party of India (Marxist) District Secretary R S Bsavaraj has slammed the Bharatiya Janata Party-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government for using Pulwama attack for political gains.
Addressing a press meet, he accused the BJP of engineering the Pulwama attack on the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) for political mileage.
He said, “Instead of fighting the elections based on achievements, Prime Minister Narendra Modi with no agenda, plotted the Pulwama attack in Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) to evoke sympathy among people and attract the maximum number of votes.”
“He has worked only for corporate giants and has neglected farmers and commoners. That is the only achievement of PM Modi. The nation has seen unemployment, shut down of businesses due to Goods and Service Tax (GST) and Modi has not even thought of implementing the Swaminathan Committee report. If he comes to power yet again, the benefit is only for the business class and nothing for the commoner”, he added.
