Understand principles of Cong, BJP and then vote, says Cong MP

Ballari: MP of Rajya Sabha from the Congress party L Hanumanthaiah has requested to vote for the Congress Lok Sabha candidate from Ballari constituency V S Ugrappa, here on Saturday, April 20.

Speaking to the media he said that people should understand the principles of both the Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and then vote for the able candidate.

He said, “People have two options in front of them. One is the Congress party, which believes in collective approach of taking the people together, irrespective of caste, religion etc and on the other hand you have the BJP, which has selective approach.”

“I request the electorates to vote for Ugrappa, who believes in democracy and upholds the Indian Constitution.”, he added.

Meanwhile, he slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi by saying, “PM Modi has wasted crores of rupees on Swacch Bharat campaign and its commercials. Nothing has paid off. There is employment crisis.”

“Airstrike is being politicized, black money has not come back to the country as promised. Modi has failed to deliver,” he added.
