Bidar: Suryakanta Nagamarapalli, the sitting MLA who is upset with the BJP for not getting a ticket, is almost certain to join the JD (S).
A round of talks has already been held with the Dal leaders. He is likely to join the JD (S). Photos of Suryakanth with the JD (S) symbol have been circulated by fans on social media. Nagamarapalli had initially offered to contest as an independent candidate as he did not get a ticket from Bidar Assembly constituency. Most of the supporters in said that they too had joined the JD (S). According to supporters, Suryakanta Nagamarapalli is likely to join the JD (S./).
Ishwar Singh, who has been associated with the party organisation for 35 years as an ordinary worker, has been given a ticket by the BJP this time.
