Bidar: The Members of the Banjara Community staged a protest here against the State Government’s recommendation to the Central Government to implement the sub-reservation for Scheduled Castes.
Gor Sena State Unit President Balasaheb Rathod, Charansingh Rathod, Uttam Jadhav, and Bhimrao Rathod led a procession from Kannadambe Circle to Basaveshwara Circle in the Town and expressed their anger over the Government’s move.
We have been opposing the implementation of the Sadashiva Commission Report from the very beginning. However, the State Government took a decision in the Cabinet Meeting and recommended it to the Centre.
The protesters alleged that this was unfair to Banjara, Bhovi, Koracha, Korama and other communities.
