Bidar: District witnessed a heartbreaking incident when 25-year-old Mallappa Sharanappa Karepanor was swept away while attempting to cross an overflowing bridge during heavy rains. Despite the efforts of locals and fire brigade personnel over the course of three agonizing days, the young man’s body remained elusive.
Bidar police intervened and deployed a drone to assist in the search operation. The tireless endeavors of the drone and the search team finally bore fruit as they discovered the youth’s lifeless body near Dhannur village on Saturday, July 29th.
This tragic event provided closure to the grieving family and the community, as they could finally bid farewell to the young man who lost his life due to the bridge mishap.
