Bidar: Congress candidate from Bidar Assembly constituency, Rahim Khan said that it was said that Muslims should come together to defeat Lingayats’ in the assezmbly elections.

“JD (S) candidate Suryakanta Nagamarapalli is desperate due to fear of losing. They are spreading fake news against me on social media,” he said.

“I am a minority candidate in the Congress campaign meeting. I have requested everyone to come together and make me win, and not to unite to defeat the Lingayats. The leaders on the dais were witness to this,” he said.

“I believe in secular ideology. The voters of the constituency are well aware of my personality. I will file a complaint for action against those who are spreading fake news on social media,” he said.

Lingayats have been supporting me since time immemorial. I have full confidence that they will support me this time as well,” he said.
