Bidar: The-Nudge Foundation distributes goat to poor

Bidar: The Nudge Foundation (Nudge Ultra Poor Programme) distributed goats free of cost to the poorest of the poor in various villages of Aurad Taluk to earn a living.

Shrikant Kumar Raut, State Head of the Nudge Ultra Poor programme, said, “After six months of surveying and data collection of the poorest of the poor families in the villages, this work has been done to identify the eligible beneficiaries and address their poverty alleviation problem.

On August 22, 2022, the Ultra Poorer programme, a flagship component of the organisation, was launched with a 21-member field team in Kalaburagi and Aurad Taluk of Bidar District for the welfare of more than 1000 of the poorest of the poor. Therefore, he called upon them to take advantage of this scheme.

Founded in Bengaluru in July 2015 under the leadership of founder Atul Satija, The Nudge Foundation is an Indian non-profit organisation. The organisation is working towards alleviating poverty in a sustainable, cooperative and scalable manner.

Shrikant Kumar Raut, State Head of the Nudge Ultra Poor Programme, said that since the scheme is being implemented in Aland in Kalaburagi District and Aurad Taluk of Bidar District from August 20, 2022, the poor people should take advantage of the scheme.
