Bidar: The Kalyana Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (KKRTC) is all set to recruit bus drivers for the first time in the country through a new technology called wireless system.
The recruitment process for drivers has started from Monday (July 3) at the regional centre of Kalyana Karnataka Road Transport Corporation on the outskirts of Humanabad town, which will help in conducting it in a completely transparent manner without any interference in the recruitment with this innovative technology.
What is a wireless system:
The test track on which this wireless system is fitted has sensors fitted to the poles in various ways, including ‘S’ and ‘8’ digit-shaped pillars. If the vehicle hits the poles of the track while driving, a message will be sent to the computer as to which number the bus has hit the pole. Also, the test score of the candidates will be automatically recorded.
This drive is equipped with 8 different types of tests. A total of 25 marks will be passed in this test of 50 marks. Those who score the highest marks will be considered for appointment. The recruitment process for a total of 1,619 vacancies has started from Monday.
