Kalaburagi: BJP leader Manikanth Rathod faced a violent assault with deadly weapons. Rathod, defeated BJP candidate in the Chittapur constituency, was targeted while traveling from Chittapur to Kalaburagi, near Shahabad, by unidentified assailants.
His vehicle was forcibly stopped, and he was brutally attacked on the head with beer bottles. As a result, Rathod sustained severe injuries. He has been promptly transported to a private hospital in Kalaburagi for immediate medical attention.
