Kalaburagi: Two brothers died of heart attack in the same house on the same day. The incident occurred in Kollur Village of Chittapur Taluk on Saturday April 15.
Hampanna Siddanna Poojary (60) and Nagappa Somalingappa Poojary (62) are the deceased. Both these brothers, who were farmers by profession, died at the same time, and the family was deeply saddened.
Nagappa developed chest pain at 11.30 pm on Friday April 14. He breathed his last on the way to the Village Government Hospital. Hampanna, who came home after taking his elder brother Nagappa to the hospital, also suffered from sudden chest pain. The villagers were surprised aa the dead body of the elder brother was still in the house.
Family sources said that the last rites of the two brothers were performed on their own land in the village on the afternoon of Saturday. The cremation of the couple was held in Kollur Village and the family members were in mourning.
