Kalaburagi: MLA and President of Siddhasiri Souharda Sahakari Limited Basanagouda Patil Yatnal said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been invited to inaugurate the ethanol and power generation plant at Siddhasiri (sugar factory) near Chincholi in the District.
Addressing a press conference here, he said the ethanol plant will be commissioned on a trial basis on January 18. Union Ministers Prahlad Joshi and Bhagwant Khuba have been entrusted with the responsibility of getting the PM’s date, which will be inaugurated by the Prime Minister after it is fully ready in February. However, he said that he will come to the State once in 15 days due to elections.
“The inauguration is likely to take place in the second week of February,” he said.
