Kalaburagi: In shocking statement, Kharge had stirred a controversy by calling Prime Minister Narendra Modi a ‘poisonous snake’ and now his son Priyank Kharge called Modi as ‘nalaayak’.
Addressing a press conference on Monday May 1, he said, “Let us remember what Modi had said to the Banjara community when he came to Malakheda two months ago. Addressing the people of the Banjara community, he had said that their son is in Delhi. But how would you feel if you had such a nalaayak son? It’s not just about running the country. Even if there is a nalayak son in the house, the house does not run smoothly,” he said.
But at the end of the press conference, he said, “I did not say ‘nalayaak’ to Modi. For me, answering a few questions is more important than personal abuse,” Kharge said.
