Kalaburagi: In a devastating incident near Balluragi village in Kalaburagi district, a family of five, including two young children, lost their lives in a tragic collision with a truck. The accident occurred around 4:30 pm on a highway in Afzalpur taluk on Thursday.
The victims, identified as Roshan Nevar (28), Asmita Roshan (23), Swastika Krishnam (20), Milana (5), and Lakhan (2), were on a two-wheeler coming from Dudhani village in Solapur district of Maharashtra. The collision happened as a truck, traveling from Afzalpur taluk, attempted to overtake the motorcycle.
Tragically, the impact of the collision resulted in the immediate loss of all five family members. Following the accident, the driver of the truck fled the scene. Police authorities are actively pursuing efforts to apprehend the driver, bringing a sense of justice to this heartbreaking incident.
