Koppal: A government high school Headmaster died after his bike rammed into a stationary bus near Kushtagi on Wednesday October 19.
The deceased has been identified as Shekarappa Nagappa Kateigar (54), a resident of Takkalaki village.
He was the Headmaster of Kanakagiri Taluk Musalapura Government High School.
He was travelling to Kushtagi after work hours when the accident happened. His two-wheeler rammed into a busy, which had broken down near the solar plant.
Shekharappa did not have a helmet on, which resulted in severe head injuries, and he died on the spot due to heavy bleeding.
Following a post-mortem on Thursday morning at the Kushtagi Government Hospital, his body was handed over to the family.
A case has been registered at Kushtagi Police Station.
