Koppal: The District Kannada Sahitya Sammelana, which was postponed due to the second wave of COVID – 19 at Hanumansagara, will be held on March 4 and 5 at Karnataka Public School Grounds.
It was scheduled to be held on April 1 and 2, 2021 under the leadership of Rajashekar Angadi, Former President of Zilla Sahitya Parishat. Similarly, Senior Information Technology Advisor Dr. Udaya Puranik was appointed as the President .However, the District Administration postponed the conference as it was taking serious note of the severity of the second wave of Covid at that time.
Later, in view of the November 2021 Kannada Sahitya Parishat
D elections, District President Sharanagouda Patil became the President of Herur District and the permission was not obtained from the State President Dr. Mahesh Joshi to hold the conference.
After the Haveri Akhila Bharata Kannada Sahitya Sammelana, Hanumansagara has now got the nod to hold the District Conference.
